About Me

 Neha R. Srivastava, known by her pen name Neha R. Krishna, is a Mumbai-based poet, writer, and translator. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. Currently, she serves as a junior scriptwriter at MPS Images, working under the mentorship of Mr. Mohinder Pratap Singh, a notable Bollywood screenwriter. Neha was the Head of Content and Creativity at Kaafiya, a prominent poetry platform in India. In addition to her primary pursuits, Neha actively contributes to the literary landscape through participation in various literary events and poetry festivals.

She leads content creation for the Swar Dharohar - A Festival of Art, Music, and Literature, an annual event held at the iconic India Gate Lawn in New Delhi. Neha takes pride in being one of the founding members of Kaafiya (Poetry Festival). Her expertise has also been lent to events like the Qatar Culture and Literature Festival 2019, where she served as a social media consultant, and she has been an integral part of the curation and think tank team of Jashn e Ittihaad 2019 - Festival of Unity, in association with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

 She is the author of "No Urgency To Be Home," a captivating collection of Haiku and Tanka. Notably, she has translated the works of the legendary Gulzar from Hindi Triveni into contemporary English Tanka.  

Her poetic talents have earned her recognition and acclaim, with her poems, haiku, and haibun gracing the pages of esteemed publications such as Quail Bells Magazine, The Yearbook of Indian Poetry in English, Under the Basho, Presence, Frogpond, Haiku Masters – Japan, Failed Haiku, Human/Kind Journal, Frameless Sky, Haiku Foundation, Bones Journal, Prune Juice Journal, Moonbathing Journal, Wild Plum Journal, Golden Haiku Competition, Asahi Haiku Network – Japan, and Contemporary Haibun Online, among others.
